While the 2016 Summer Olympics were hot, two of the Styling Sistas were adventurous and met up at LA for a day. Then headed off to vacaying in SFO bay area. So this is first of the series of summer fun Cali style this year!
Venice Beach in a Capsule!

A trip to LA is incomplete without a stroll on Venice Beach and Hollywood Blvd. Amrita & Arpita had a great time frolicking on Venice Beach. But they have to go back to take pics on Hollywood Blvd & Sunset Blvd etc…..
The temperature was slightly less than optimal at 69 degrees for beach weather….brrr for both the sistas! We braved to wet out feet for photo op and then found these beautiful walls and palm tress painted in graffiti a few feet from the water to use as as our back drop.
Arpita is wearing a little chiffon sleeveless slip dress that almost captures all the hues around the water. She blends with the colors of the wall she chose.
A slip dress in a light fabric like chiffon acts as a great coverup over a swim suit. It dries up fast and takes wee bit of space in your beach bag. She keeps her look beach & mod with these fantastic blue shades and dragonfly shaped earrings.

Amrita chose this maxi dress with a jersey top and chiffon skirt. The skirt although long for a walk in the sand, the wind kept sweeping it high enough for the purpose. Amri plays up the summery flower colors of her dress with orange rimmed shades, pink lip balm, and crystal danglers.
As mentioned earlier, it was no ideal temperature for Amrita so she pulled out her denim jacket after a little while.
